Artist Series: Magali Villeneuve

Magali Villeneuve's Artist Series drop, released in April 2022, included a new Forest among four reimagined cards from the veteran illustrator, who had painted more than 150 pieces of Magic art over nearly a decade by that point. Her original graphite sketch for the Forest — rendered in soluble graphite with 22-karat gold accents — later sold at auction for thousands of dollars alongside the drop's other three sketches.
