A decade after Khans of Tarkir, Tarkir: Dragonstorm returned players in April 2025 to the war-torn plane inspired by eastern and central Asian cultures, where five clans clashed beneath dragons born from Ugin's elemental tempests. The set revisited the plane's central conflict between draconic power and the humanoid clans that revered it, set against a landscape of deserts, jungles, and tundra. Fitting Tarkir's rugged, clan-divided terrain, the set's full-art basic lands captured the plane's dramatic natural extremes.
