The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth

The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth, released in June 2023, follows Tolkien's story from the Shire outward, told mainly through the eyes of the hobbits Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin as their quest widens across the wider world. Its ten basic lands aren't scenes. They're actual maps of Middle-earth, illustrated by Wizards' own cartographer Deven Rue in the style of Pauline Baynes' classic Tolkien book maps. They don't form one continuous panorama if laid side by side, either: each uses its own scale, so the Shire appears as a close-up on one land and a distant speck on another.
