The Tokyo Lands arrived in June 2022, sending five artists — Rosemary Valero-O'Connell, Andy Williams, Mr. Misang, Yuumei, and the duo Nicole Gustafsson & Marija Tiurina — on a guided tour of Tokyo across a full-art basic land cycle. Official copy framed the set as a "trip to Tokyo," with each land standing in as a distinct stop on that itinerary.
