MTG Full Art Lands

Un-sets

Unstable

Unstable, released in December 2017, is set on Bablovia — a steampunk "mad scientist world" split into five rival factions who can't agree on anything, from cyborgs obsessed with self-improvement to goblin tinkerers whose inventions mostly explode. It was the third Un-set and the first built specifically to be drafted as its own standalone format, rather than mixed into a normal Magic pool. Its five full-art basics, each illustrated by John Avon, were also the first Un-set lands printed borderless instead of black-bordered — a quieter design choice ahead of a set otherwise packed with dice-rolling contraptions and jokes about the game itself. Wizards has called it one of the best-received sets of that year. A steampunk plane's worth of chaos, with five calm exceptions.
